Happy Wednesday everyone! Today’s blog post is inspired by one of my favorite fictional characters on tv: Carrie Bradshaw- from “Sex and the City”. Who could forget the opening credits with her wearing that pale pink sleeveless top, belted with a poofy white tulle skirt, as she makes her way through the busy NYC crowd and gets muddy water sprayed all over her by the bus with her photo on it! She handled it so gracefully- in her beautiful, girly tulle outfit! We all know Carrie loved a great tulle moment…..
Lately I’ve been noticing tulle skirts EVERYWHERE! So exciting! What a great statement to wear when your feeling girly, flirty and feminine! Here are a collection of some of my favorites I’ve seen on the web for you to check out:
One of my new favorite online shops is The Girl That Loves….their motto for their spring collection is: “Fun. Flirty. Bright.” which is sooooo up my alley! This shop brings you all the latest styles and trends with out putting a huge dent in your wallet! I love how fresh, fun and whimsical all of their pieces are……
Ruche is another one of my favorite shops! All their clothes have a modern-vintage style which are so beautiful. Their price point is great and currently they have free shipping on ANY order this week only- so make sure to take advantage while you can!
Space 46 has an online boutique that is KNOWN for their tulle skirts! Their slogan is “Any Day is a Good Day for a Tulle Skirt”….and I couldn’t agree more! They have a wide variety of lengths, sizes and colors…. here are some of my favorites:
And…. if you want an exact replica of the skirt Carrie Bradshaw wore in those opening credits on “Sex and the City” (like I described earlier)….. here you go! They even named it “Carrie”- how fitting!
This trend is so girly and romantic….. it makes me want to take a week long trip to Paris, wear a different tulle skirt every single day, go to all the museums and stare at Monet paintings, sip espressos and have croissants at a fancy café, and just soak in all the romance the city has to offer! It’s great because you can dress a tulle skirt up or down depending on your personality or mood. Rock one with a tucked in t-shirt and pair of Chuck Taylors, or girl it up with a pair of strappy heels and tucked in feminine blouse.

So…. where do you plan on wearing your new tulle skirt?
