Happy Thursday everyone! Today’s blog is all about animal print. Literally….. print with animals on it! I’ve been noticing more and more lately prints with the cutest animals, such as elephants, birds, foxes, and my all time favorite- owls! What a great way to sport your favorite animal while looking stylish and trendy all at once! One of my favorite prints in the whole world is the ‘Tusk in the Sun” print by Lilly Pulitzer. I have an agenda, glass catch-all tray, scarf, tumblr and phone case in this print! (I know, it’s a sickness.) Unfortunately, this print is discontinued on the site, but you can always go to Amazon or Ebay! If you go to Etsy, there are tons of shops that can custom make anything you want in that print! So if you love elephants…. here you go:
I have a major love for anything with an owl on it. Partially because it’s my sorority’s mascot (Alpha Delta Kappa)…. anddddd because they are just so stinkin’ cute! Mod Cloth has some really cute owl clothing right now! Like this hoodie, so cute for lounging around the house or even out running errands…
And then there’s this adorable, vintage-looking dress. How cute would this be for a dinner party or out for a few glasses of wine with girlfriends? The back has a super cute bow on it, which is right up my ally!
Don’t even get me started on how adorable this tee shirt is. Like seriously. This needs to be in my life and I will wear it probably every other day. I would rock this with a pair of skinny (hmmm.. or maybe boyfriend) jeans and converse sneakers, or dress it up a bit- tucked into a skirt with a statement necklace and pair of cute booties.
This scarf might be the most perfect thing I’ve ever seen. It’s light weight allowing you to wear any time of year, especially during the spring months. It has purple, brown, blue and beige making it pretty versatile to wear with different pieces of clothing in your closet. I’d personally wear it with a long button down jean shirt and black leggings. And it just so happens to be 30% off right now online! Woot Woot! (or should I say Hoot Hoot!) Ok… I’m corny. I know.
ASOS makes a really adorable blue owl print dress, which is perfect for these spring months. On warmer days, it would look perfect paired with a long vintage necklace, fedora hat and strappy gladiator sandals… but on cooler days you could add a leather moto jacket, tights and black booties.
And the same goes for this black, white and grey owl dress from ASOS!
I have a pretty big obsession with anything from Victoria’s Secret, but I never seem to gravitate to their shoes for some reason. Until now. Check out these green sued flats with….. yes, it is what you think it is…. AN OWL! I just died.
Lets not forget about birds. Bird print is huge right now for spring. Probably because this is the time of year when the sun is shinning, flowers are blooming and you hear birds chirping outside everywhere. Especially at 6am this morning. Directly right outside of my window. With the most annoying chirp you will EVER hear in your life! For over an hour straight. Grrrrr. Oh sorry, back to clothes……… I’ve been noticing bird print on flats, dresses, blouses, and even shorts. Wicked cute. Dorothy Perkins has a super cute dress perfect for a spring afternoon.
Then there is this yellow bird dress by John Lewis. I swoon over this dress. It makes me happy just looking at it. I could totally see myself wearing this on a date night or even a get-together with some friends.
Tory Burch has a pair of pants that I’ve had my eye on for a little while now. Not sure if I can pull it off but I’d like to think I can! And they are on sale right now….. so that must be a sign right??? These would look really cute with a white tank and pair of nude flats.
John Lewis makes this sleeveless bird print top, prefect to wear with a pair of skinny black capris and black loafer flats. I love the added pop of pink. Who doesn’t love a little color this time of year!?
I’m really loving fox print lately too! Check out this green fox smock dress from ASOS. How cute would this be with a pair of flats and little crop jacket over it?
Or how about this polka dot and fox cropped sweater? A little girly with the polka dots, yet edgy with it being cropped. Perfect mix! To. Die. For.
I love love love scarfs and Sole Society has a navy blue and red scarf with foxes on it right now for under $25! I would pair this with a long navy maxi dress, and jean jacket on a cooler spring/summer night…. or it would look great with just a white tee, pair of jeans and red flats too!
What animal print will you be rocking this Spring?
